Park City Farmers Market

Ahhh, inhale the smells of BBQ and Navajo Tacos cooking at the Park City Farmers Market. And then everything grinds to a halt as you remember that you are on a strict diet and these are definitely not foods to enjoy right now. However, there are plenty of other delights that you can indulge in, including produce galore, and....skirts. Yes, I bought a skirt today at the Farmers Market. It's a one size fits all (let's hope - because I wasn't up for trying it on in plain sight) and very Bohemian, which is going to be my new look now that I bought the skirt. They also had tie-dyed shirts, but I stayed away from those.

The business station was a bakery with gorgeous bread, pastries, and treats. We bought the kids a cinnamon bun to share as we wandered. This is not a huge market. It will take you maybe a half hour to an hour to walk around depending on how in-depth you look at things. With our kids whining and rain threatening we did a general overview to see what was available. Best to come without kids, although there were plenty there, along with quite a few dogs.

If you are in the area, or want to get out of the heat for the day, it's about a 45 minute drive through Parley's Canyon from Salt Lake. Take the Kimball Junction exit and it will be on your right a few miles down the road. If you do bring kids, they will love riding the lift to the Canyons Resort and back. The lift is free.
